Live Your Legacy

By Mike Monahan, CEO and executive director of Life Success Seminars Inc.

Mike Monahan
In late 2010, Life Success Seminars grad Joe Torre spoke at an event at the White House. Joe discussed the impact Life Success's Basic seminar had on him and how it inspired him to start his nonprofit, Safe at Home Foundation, which helps those affected by domestic violence.

You may think that you have to do something big like Joe did in order to change the world and leave a lasting legacy. The reality is that something simple, like consistently posting inspiring messages on Facebook, can change the world.

Help us change the world. Live your legacy. Please join us in-person at an upcoming Basic seminar or in cyberspace, and we'll change the world together!

Do You Open the Door?

By Mike Monahan, CEO and executive director of Life Success Seminars Inc.

Mike Monahan
Growing up, I learned that it was polite to open doors for others. The right thing to do is to hold the door for someone to enter.

It's one thing to be polite, and it's another to have the door opened for you. Over the years, I've had many door-openers in my life. Door-openers are the people who step up and give you an opportunity you never would have on your own.

I'm often afraid to make a decision, and I look for someone I trust to open the door for me. They might even need to drag me through it!

I trusted my wife, Nancy, more than I trusted myself in June 1987, so I went to Life Success's Basic seminar. Nancy definitely has been one of my many door-openers.

With a little courage, you could open the door for someone in your life. Who is waiting on you like I was waiting on Nancy? Don't let them stand outside the door!

Responsibility To, Responsibility For

By Mike Monahan, CEO and executive director of Life Success Seminars Inc.

Mike Monahan
In my ebook, OccupyYour Future, I discuss the responsibility formula covered in Life Success Seminars's Basic seminar: I am responsible for myself, for how I think, feel and act. I am responsible to others, to love, encourage and support. I am not responsible for others!

This formula is a simple idea that would change the world if everyone would adhere to it!

I am responsible for myself, for how I think, feel and act. This alone would change everything because if everyone owned their own behavior, there's no need to blame others.

I am responsible to others, to love, encourage and support. This is the added bonus: We all would be a resource to others.

Responsibility to, responsibility for. Now you know the secret to success!
